What New In August!    Jess George Come stop by the library and meet our new Youth Services Librarian, Jess George. She likes to go by Miss Jess and has a cute pug name Petunia. Before Jess came to DAML she worked at East Greenwich Free Library in Rhode Island for over three years. She has a passion for creating fun and inviting spaces for both kids and teens, while igniting their interests for reading. Before finding her love of librarianship Jess studied neuropsychology at Boston University and she used to bake cupcakes for a living.  As well Jess lived in New Zealand for 4 years after college and ran an art collective called Makeshift, where she worked with artists, writers and bands. Her favorite foods are pizza and broccoli (but not together) and her favorite holiday is Halloween. If you want to know more about our new librarian stop in and introduce yourself.
